		<description>I&#039;m not clamouring for Vista yet. I don&#039;t have a Core2Duo and don&#039;t think my machine could handle it with its meagre 1gb of RAM. Have heard that its more search oriented and that&#039;s a good thing. 

But I guess part of my point is that more and more of the applications and tools we use now are online -- and so the start menu becomes irrelevant; if it skips straight to Google, Yahoo or Windows Live Search... well, that kind of supports my case :)

I am looking forward to messing about with Aero, though.</description>
